Smoothie Grocery List

Here is a list of ingredients to create our digestive rebuilding smoothies. This grocery list is to try all the smoothie recipes. Individual ingredient lists are located in each recipe. 

Shopping List

Shoot to have 5 smoothies this week! Amounts listed will provide enough to make 1 of each smoothie:

  1. Chocolate Almond Avocado
  2. Fig + Mango with Ginger
  3. Protein Powerhouse
  4. Coconut Lime
  5. Tangerine Beet
  6. Southern Blueberry Okra

Liquids:

  • Filtered water (20 oz)

  • Almond milk, unsweetened (8 oz)

  • 2 Young Thai Coconuts (This will provide the coconut water base and the meat used as cream)

  • Kefir, plain (8 oz)

Veggies:

  • Beet leaves (8 large leaves)

  • 2 small beets – buy a bunch!

  • Kale (2 large leaves)

  • Turnip greens (8 large leaves)

  • 2 Okra pods

  • Ginger root (enough to grate ½ tbsp)

Fruit:

  • 1 Avocado

  • 1 Papaya

  • 1 Lemon

  • 1 Lime

  • 1 Tangerine (with peel)

  • 1 Apple (Jonagold is highest in pectin)

  • 4 Figs – can buy fresh or dried

  • 1 Mango – cut and freeze ½ at home

  • Blackberries – freeze 1 cup at home

  • Blueberries – freeze ½ cup at home

  • Pineapple – cut and freeze 1 cup at home

Dry Ingredients:

  • Veg-E Complete Pro Chocolate or another vegan chocolate protein powder

  • Almond Butter

  • Chia Seeds

  • Raw honey

  • Pink Himalayan salt

Optional Substitutions:

  • Spinach in place of beet leaves
  • Beets are optional but recommended
  • 1 can organic coconut milk + 24 oz coconut water if Young Thai Coconuts are not available
